Dan's stuck between a moss-rock and a hard-place when the network insist he promote Ava to television presenter. He doesn't need to have seen her recently to know how she'll react. When he does, he's blown away by the woman she's become and it galls him to have to keep manipulating her into various PR stunts to keep the network happy and to hang on to any chance of meeting his career goal on-schedule.
Ava does her best in a job she doesn't want in a city she doesn't like with a man she likes a little bit too much. Despite everything, when it all goes pear-shaped Dan's the last one Ava expects to be behind it.
