Hannah Wride lives amongst a string of wetlands in Western Australia with her partner and a menagerie of animals.

For many years she worked in advertising and film distribution before finally settling down in the wildlife industry. She has authored commercials for television and radio, magazine articles, media releases, brochures and website content, but "Wild Encounter" was her first full-length novel.

She wrote "Wild Encounter" whilst on a break from her job in a wildlife conservation agency. She started her second novel soon after returning to work. Meanwhile, "Wild Encounter" is in the hands of the publishing gods and Hannah has her fingers (and toes) crossed for publication in the near future.
